While searching for possible new videos of Wheesung at You Tube, I came across this video entitled MNET Top 10 Male Vocals. It was not subbed so when I started to stream part 1 of 2 videos uploaded I was shocked to see the 10 names that were featured until I watched the 2nd part. I guess some people from the music industry were invited to select the Top 10 Male Vocalist in Korea. Here is the list based on what some of the commenters from the thread described as ‘music experts’:

- 김 범수 Kim Bom Soo
- 나 얼 Na Eol
- 이 수 Lee Su
- 김종환 Kim Jong Hwan
- 김종국 Kim Jong Gook
- 휘성 Wheesung
- 윤민수 Yun Min Su
- 환희 Hwan Hee of Fly to the Sky
- 하동균 and 김진호 Ha Dong Kyun and Kim Jin Ho of SG Wannabe
First of all I am happy that Wheesung is part of the Top 10. I really couldn’t imagine if his name wasn’t included in the Top 10 moreso in the short list of artists name. He deserves to be there having such versitile and powerful voice. I am no position to question the judges ability to assess artists but I just felt that being just 7 is way too low for Wheesung. He should at least be in the top 3 or 5. I don’t mean to bash the other artists who made it on top of his name but seeing Kim Jong Gook’s name ahead of his makes me doubt these ‘experts’ judgement… How on earth is a mosquito voiced guy be better than the smokin’ smooth and powerful voice of Wheesung?
Portion of each selected artist performance is shown as they explain why they have chosen the said artist and by just hearing the sample songs being played I am really not in agreement that rank 3 to 6 artists are better than Wheesung. I strongly feel that the lowest spot for him should have been 3rd. Even with the greatly voiced Kim Boom Soo, Wheesung is more versitile than he is.
