Cover: I Need A Girl
God knows how i adore Wheesung and so is Taeyang so this cover is definitely cooler than cool for me =) This is a fan cam from Wheesung and Kim Taewoo’s concert Two Men Show Soul Twin.
I remember he did the same thing with Taeyang’s Look Only at Me with Jeongyeop and Park Hyoshin. I love their rendition too it was flowing so smooth. It was a great cover of this song. They did some class on the song but not to say Taeyang’s lack the class, it was a different feel. Why can’t I have the luck to see Wheesung on concerts like this. Geez… and he is about to go to military.
A Man of A Yellow Skirt
I am not sure which show is this but i think it features male vocalists in South Korea singing classic songs made famous by earlier generation of singers.
I feel good listening to this song, the beat has a jazzy undertones on it and of course the rendition of Wheesung made it more special . I love his outfit here and his hair suits him =)

Wheesung Does Luther Vandross
I love this Luther Vandross song, it’s very heartwarming and I am so happy that Wheesung chose to make a cover of this song. I wasn’t expecting him to ever sing this and I am just so happy that he did.
This one is from another stage singing the same song, from Lee Sora’s 2nd Propose show.
I am not sure if this song appeals to Korean but this is such a very pleasant song. Except for some pronunciation slips Wheesung gave justice to it, undoubtedly a very good rendition of a soon to be Luther Vandross classic =)

Wheesung Cover: Creep
This is song is a big hit when I was in college. I am neither a fan of Radio Head nor this type of music but I must say he did a good job in doing a cover of this late 90s song.

Winter Nights…Wheesung’s Mini Album?!
So this is the remake of Michael Jackson’s You Are not Alone by Wheesung and Cloud (i actually don’t know her or him!?) . For the first time I cannot figure out Wheesung’s voice from this song. What I could identify as his voice was at the later part of the song where I could hear him do second voice. However, from the entire song, I wonder if it was Cloud’s voice if part of it was Wheesung, it really didn’t sound like him.
There is also a rendition of All By Myself but I never really heard of Wheesung’s voice.
The album is called Winter Nights but with the choice of songs… I could actually rename the album as Winter Blues. You know how winter can sometimes make you feel homesick when you are away from home, this is the message and feel of these songs. And I wonder why it appears to bear Wheesung’s name the post said the album was a mini album of Wheesung..this made me totally confused.

K.Will Does Insomnia
I am not sure if K.Will looks up to Wheesung but this is the second time I hear and saw him perform a Wheesung song. I am sure there could be other cover performances. I admire K.Will voice, he got a got voice .
This time he gives a different touch to the way he rendered Insomnia. His style still sounded a bit ballad but it was fine. Of course it would be odd (at least for me) to say his rendition is better than Wheesungbecause i keep on missing that smooth transition of Wheesung in his falsettos.
Another Whoaaaaaaa
I missed a lot of watching and reading over the internet last April =( I felt totally behind but still grateful to get to see video posts on some of Wheesung’s performances in other variety shows.
I am trying to look for this song in my iTunes. If I am not mistaken I have this song but the FTTS version. It feels so good to hear Wheesung sing this song.
Its another whoaaaaaa live performance from Wheesung. I wish he completed the song.
Insomnia Reaches Chocolate
People are getting sleepless nowadays listening to Insomnia…very addicting song indeed! It was like a mini concert at Chocolate singing not less than the massive hit song:
He likewise sang songs he have written for Younha and Lee Hyori entitled Password 486 and Mr. Big respectively.
What surprised me the most is seeing him perform with Jewelry S… the song Miss U was nice really but the nose of the member in skirt is a bit scary. Reminds me of her big sister from Jewelry. Funny how the girls say rag — rag –on instead or rock rock on =D
And he sings Because of You from Neyo… I think he can make a good cover of this song too. There is so much that Wheesung can sing — Neyo songs are also perfect to cover.
There is so much of Wheesung nowadays in Korean TV. I wish I am in Korea now. How can I sneak out of work O_O

Wheesung is No Ordinary
For one time I was so addicted to John Legend’s Ordinary People. I love the song and the way Legend sings it. Recently, I have added one category on this blogsite and that is Wheesung covers. I have this song on mind as well. I wish he sings this song…and this radio performance granted that wish of mine:
Minus very slight pronunciation that shows his Korean accent… the voice is perfect. His English is really far way better than a lot of Korean artists who try to sing English songs. This song was performed the day the Insomnia video is officially out.
Wheesung and I probably have the same taste in music. I love his songs and he sings or covers songs that I like. I was like a proud someone hearing him sang Ordinary People that way. John Legend will surely be honored to hear the great rendition. Wheesung singing Ordinary People makes him no ordinary man.

Insomnia: Craig David and Wheesung Face Off
This is one face off that is really hard to do — Craig David (CD) vs Wheesung. I love them both. The release of Wheesung’s Korean version of Insomnia stirred much attention from Koreans and non-Koreans as well. It’s almost expected to see comments and exchanges on who is better or who the hell is Wheesung (for non K-pop lover) and who is CD (for those idiot who does not know him — he is one hell big star).
I don’t mean to offend anyone but it’s really a bit stupid to see comments insulting these two great artists. It’s hard to compare Wheesung for someone like CD who is a world star and equally talented, i think the fair and square comparison is by checking out their respective MVs of Insomnia. Both guys are so hot on their MVs undoubtedly. They are both sporting really nice shades but CD just got that x-factor ‘this guy is hot look’ without doing anything… i’m sorry i don’t mean to say Wheesung isn’t hot because he is! Certainly he is, i just only mean CD was just singing and doing some groove but he looked hot already.
The two videos almost have the same theme except that there are backgound dancers for Wheesung and CD got only one hot and beautiful lady in his MV.
I believe Wheesung is so thankful that CD asked him to remake this song knowing how big CD is in the world music industry…and he did well vocally i must say he was better at least on this song (because CD is the type of singer whom you would love to hear not because he belts but because of his style and groove). I also think the last portion of the video also did set the difference. The dancing was cool.
I wish Wheesung does a cover of ‘Unbelievable’ and ‘I Just Don’t Love You No More’. These are just 2 of my list of favorites from CD.
I Wanna Hear Wheesung Sing…
Hmmm I have long been thinking of some English songs that I wish Wheesung could do some sort of cover or probably just a live rendition. So I am having this new category ‘Wheesung Cover’. It’s going to be everything about songs that aren’t Wheesung’s original but I wish he sings or my review of his own version of the song.
For now I just wanted to say that for the longest time I have been imagining he sings ‘Another Used to Be’ by Joe. It’s really one of the coolest songs i ever heard. It doesn’t require him to belt that much but knowing Wheesung, he is probably going to give some more attitude to this song. And how I really wish he sings the lyrics of the song from his heart. Like having to say to a girl to just be her self so they won’t have to end up like some ‘who used to be together’. Cheesy but nevertheless I would be too happy to hear Wheesung sing this song specially the bridge portion…
