The Soul Concert: Performance Clip
Wheesung seems to be enjoying this performance in what it appears to be their December 2010 concert called the Soul. I am not sure whose song is this but it’s really nice.

Wheesung Reunited with Gummy at Sketch Book
Wheesung seem to have reunited with Gummy on stage performing with another artist, Bobby Kim at Sketchbook. I guess this is fairly recent as I saw Gummy sporting this hair style during the YG Family Concert last December 5. Likewise, I remember Wheesung having this hairstyle when he performed at Club Answer in Gangnam last December 4.
Wheesung us oozing with charisma in this performance. Gummy on the other hand look so edgy, I wonder if this side of her is familiar to Wheesung. Does he likes how Gummy looks these days? Well maybe it doesn’t matter anymore since they are just friends right now.
I really like how Wheesung looked on this stage…he’s like a man you would always want to take home to meet your mom =) 2 thumbs up for Whee.

Good Old M-BOAT Days
This is one of those old performances that I really missed seeing and will probably not goona see them together again. This performance features Gummy (she looks a bit weird here–maybe the style is not my type), Big Mama, Se7e n and of course my dear Wheesung.
I also like Big Mama, they sound great. I get the impression that these were the days when YG is really all for that voice talent and setting aside that whole image thing. This is just my opinion, not that the their artist now are less talented but because they are not more particular on the overall packaging of their artists. So voice talent alone is not enough.
I am digging for that Jiyeong of Big Mama and Wheesung’s performance of Love Is (사랑은 -Sarangeun). I hope to see a clip of its performance one day.
Reminiscing the Good Old Gummy Days
Since I have been talking about how hot Wheesung and the sad love story he had with Cheating Ivy, I am happy to view again this video of Wheesung where he sings with former girlfriend Gummy. This is one of the best Korean artist duets of an English song that I heard.
I just love how Wheesung and Gummy complements each other’s voice. The english is quite pleasant to the ears. Gummy got those crystal clear voice and Wheesung is like a knight in shining armor with his singing. I just wonder what’s with the small band-aid in is face.
I just don’t know if Gummy and Wheesung had another nice duet during their Soul Concert. Although I like Wheesung to be in a relationship with a non showbiz, I have nothing against Gummy as his girlfriend. Unlike the sour-ending of break-up with Ivy, Wheesung remains to be good friends with Gummy. If they ended up being together they could possibly have a powerful voiced child =P
Fast Facts…6th Album Activities Ended
All the Gayo Daejeon has ended and there is not a single presence of Wheesung from this year-end festivals unlike last year. It was bit disappointing but I know he’s been into so many concerts-performances this end of year. Well, I know its all about that ‘not idol type’ thing. It’s just adding insult to the injury of not being able to watch Wheeshow and Soul Concert…so the frustration and disappointment is coming from chances where I can watch free and immediately.

So as usual, the long holiday allowed me to check on lots of website for any updates about him and came across some info. This is a week old now and I am no longer surprised, one song from Wheesung’s recent album has been banned from being played on-air in South Korea due to its inappropriate lyrics. You don’t need to guess that hard as I do. Choco Luv, the very sexy song will never be played publicly.
This made me realize how conservative the Korean Government is. I know that the song is a bit suggestive so it’s really unlikely to be promoted but for it to completely be banned from being played on air, never will it happen in my country and other countries as well. I have all the respect for the Korean government on how they want to screen media, at least the album still get’s to be sold for more mature people to enjoy.
Too bad I Wheesung’s activities for his 6th Album ended after the Soul Concert in Pusan. Thanks to Janis from Wheesungland for feeding me some info on his schedule as I am still an outsider to his Korean forums and sites. Now that makes me sigh a little.
Good thing is, there are still events to look forward to despite the ending of 6th album promotion — like his birthday this February MAINLY because he promised to give each fan a hug during the Wheeshow — and i badly want that hug! (Thanks to Janis for the tip). I want Wheesung’s hug too =(
Another thing to look forward is his 2nd mini album (7th from his entire discography) which is likewise being eyed on February. Got to be in Seoul on February…dying to be in Seoul this February.
Another Soul Concert pic...and the Chinese in Shanghai will get to see something like this. Wheesung in white makes a fangirl die a little staring at him... gorgeous.
While this is another thing to look forward to, I just wish I’ll have the luck to get info about it, Wheesung is staging a concert in Shanghai China on February 14 for a one night concert. Some citizens are born to be lucky and I am dead envious from these Chinese people who will have the chance to watch Wheesung on a Valentine’s Day. Now this makes me think should I say got to be in Shanghai this Valentine? But I was thinking of the hug… it matters — A LOT.
