I got this info from Wheesungland. Wheesung mentioned in one of the Korean programs that September 1o is the date that he is looking at for the launch of his next album.
This is such a great news for me as I will be going to Seoul on the 16th. This means that his album is already available for me to buy and I might be lucky enough to see him somewhere performing. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I was too sad not seeing any sign of Wheesung in my last visit so maybe this time God will bless me with Wheerrific days in Seoul.
New Album Prep
I have been trying to browse this video since yesterday and fortunately it’s now available for viewing. I am so excited watching this video. Wheesung must have worked hard for his 6th full album and the way I am seeing it –100% R&B will be landing in our hands late this year.

Look at how Wheesung has been enjoying. He’s got some help and praising from Black American talents who are true roots of R&B. Wheesung is so modest, throwing that shy look with the nice words he is receiving.
His hair doesn’t seem to be ‘Korean’ in this clip =P What I mean is that everyone knows how stylish their hair are. His mane looks like a typical guy and for one second I thought its refreshing. Seeing Wheesung that way, you feel like walking with him for a date.
My excitement over the new album doubled, I can’t wait to see the full list of tracks included. Am I hearing a Korean Neyo? The sample song playing is smooth. I was just a bit scared towards the last portion of the video — the USA is ready for Wheesung. Not that I don’t want him to launch a career in the US. I am afraid that some people may just critic him endlessly for trying in the American market. Wheesung is such a talent and the very least that I would like to hear are comments belittling him. No matter where he goes to launch his album, I will always be supporting Wheesung all the way. Another great music is on its way…

Real Slow… Real Man… Real HOT
Holy cow! Just when everybody was too mad about the initial picture of Wheesung from his official website at Orange Shock, a new one has been uploaded. Well I don’t know if this is to axe the issue on raging comments about how ‘lady-like’ is the first picture but I am loving this new pic… it’s as if there is a sudden shift of gear.

Does he look a little slimmer this time? Hmm maybe the angle.. I guess he did shed all of his fats. Oh I really cannot concentrate i keep on looking the chest down the stomach…. Whaaaaaa Wheesung so HOT! WTH are you doing turning your fans nut– one time so metrosexual then the next day a hunk. I want to cling on those arms grrrrrr!!! but I will melt if I get a hug.

So finally, his comeback this year whether its going to be on October or even later is no longer a gossip as he strips off his website with the 5th album stuff. Oh my Wheesung looks a bit feminine in the picture and he looks prettier than yours truly. It’s really the haltered sleeveless top that made it feminine. The muscles is contradicting the feminine feel. The hat reminds me of G-Dragon of Big Bang. Well I could not help but stare at his face… seeing that flawless look. The Japanese fans will undoubtedly love this picture.

6th Album in July?
Wheesung made a ‘comeback’ with his recently concluded concert in Japan. News broke on how warm the acceptance was from his Japanese fans that it was hard for Wheesung to leave the crowd who seemed not to get enough of him (understandable as i also can’t get enough of him 😛 ). From KNTV’s posting, he was tagged as the ‘leading Korean R&B singer’ and I am fully agreeing on that.
There was not a mention of any upcoming events that would showcase him but….it was constantly mentioned that he will soon be releasing his 6th Album in July. I do not know if there is truth to the said information. Looks like the Eternal Essence of Music has just been launched so coming up with a new album 5 months after his vocal chords operation seemed to be earlier than I thought. Nevertheless a new album from Wheesung is always a good news.
What could it be this time? From his 5th album to the 2 digital singles that he released, he has constantly surprised his fans in the breadth and depth of his singing abilities. It’s not just R&B, Rap, Ballad or even Pop but he tried on Acid Jazz and fusion of various music genres. I have been exchanging thoughts about it with a fellow Wheesung addict and she was hoping to that he do an UNPLUGGED album hmmm. Not a bad idea in fact I would love to see how he will perform with this kind of album which is usually produced out of a concert or stage performance. Thinking about it…having an unplugged album means having a live performance first. That makes it exciting. Perhaps an unplugged album is not what 6th is going to be.
Deep in my heart I would love to hear another soul-full Real Slow. Since I am such a big fan of R&B i hope he keeps this key ingredient in his upcoming album. He sings painful love songs so well but I would love to hear sooting R&B song from him that would speak of finding new love or inspiration…maybe something like ways to make Wheesung stay by her side 🙂 I’d like to hear for the first time that its Wheesung who is on the ‘wait and see’ side. He always seemed to be always the hurtful ones in his songs.
I am likewise excited to know what the title of the album is…how it will look like and his style in that album. Eternal Essence of Music brought out the sophisticated, mature, sleek and decently sexy Wheesung. It was far from the ‘lonely me’ and ‘my heart is broken’ look from the Love…Love?…Love! album.
Reality is no matter what the 6th album is people will expect that much from Wheesung but for someone like me who purely like him inside and out, i am pretty confident he will release another musically decent album which never fails to surprise his audience.
